Hey followers!

It's time for a new blog post. This week it will be about MM's carreer. I don't think that you know all about it. Don't worry, I won't take it long. It's going to be like a summary. Let's start!
As I mentioned on the previous blog post, Marilyn Monroe started her carreer at the agent The Blue Book as a model. In a short time, she became the most popular and successful model at the agent. Her pictures got published on so many magazines.

The director of 20th Century Fox, Ben Lyon, heard about Marilyn's popularity and managed her a short try-out. After the try-out, Ben and Marilyn filled a contract what was covering 6 months. Ben Lyon was one of the people who changed her life. Changing her name from Norma Jeane to Marilyn Monroe was Ben's idea.

First two movies she played were "Scudda Hoo! Scudda Hay!" and "Dangerous Years" . Because of the movies not getting enough attention, Marilyn stayed away from the cinema sector for a while. Afterwards, Fox Company didn't sign the contract with her.

Marilyn continued being a model and also started acting lessons. She got the chance of singing at the movie "Ladies of the Chorus". Then she got short roles in the movies "The Asphalt Jungle" and "All About Eve". In two years, she got in front of the cameras in the movies "We 're Not Married!", "Love Nest", "Let's Make It Legal" and "As Young As You Feel".

RKO used MM's potencial in the movie "Clash by Night" by Fritz Lang. After the success of the movie, they gave a role to MM at the comedy film "Monkey Business".

Finally, MM became the headliner in the movie "Don't Bother to Knock" as a babysitter having mental problems.

By clicking on the movie names, you will directly go to its page on IMDb. Also you can find out more about her carrier on IMDb. Here is the link for that.

This is one of my favourite photos of her. You can find the original one and many great photos here.
